This year means more for the world of football.

The Where Is Football team believes the individuals and communities that bring so much life into the game and its culture deserve to be celebrated, and WIF26 shines a light on those we’re inspired by and hope to collaborate with more in 2026 and beyond.

While WIF26 represents and will live on as more than a list, here is our selection of 26 individuals, projects, and communities in the following categories:

26 Communities: Where Is Football, at its core, aims to provide a sense of community and belonging through the beautiful game. Community in 2026 is more important than ever, and this list contains a selection of communities who show us all the ways we can thrive when we come together.

26 Filmmakers & Directors: The game is only as beautiful as the stories we are able to share around it. This list includes directors, writers, cinematographers, and other filmmakers crafting football storytelling at its finest.

26 Designers: We have had the fortune of collaborating with incredible designers over the years, and the impact of good, intentional design is more profound than ever as football’s influence permeates through every part of culture. This list includes designers in fashion, graphic design, and other unique skillsets.

26 Artists: Free form creative expression will always have an essential role in football, on and off the pitch. This list includes artists across a myriad of mediums, all united by the way football has flowed into their work.

26 Publications and Podcasts: Independent platforms and voices with a clear point of view are needed in the game more than ever. From magazines to collectives to podcasts, these are some publications that have inspired us.

26 Photographers: The chances are if you’re reading this, you’ve seen a lot of football in your life. This list of photographers is dedicated to those who help us see the game differently, even when we think we’ve seen it all.

26 Playmakers: Have you ever wondered how certain people have gotten into seemingly one-of-kind positions to do impressive work with practices seemingly impossible to replicate? We’ll let them tell their stories another time, but these are the playmakers.

26 Changemakers: Make no mistake, a changemaker is also a playmaker. But they have also made a profound impact in people’s lives, and inspire us as we continue to focus on how we can leave the game better than we found it.

Note: There are a lot of incredibly talented individuals and communities doing work we appreciate and want to give recognition, so please consider this a starting point for the year.

Our doors are open and ultimately the purpose of this list is to encourage collaboration and help one another find inspiration in a year when we feel it is vital for the football community to come together. This list was compiled by the Where Is Footballl editorial team, and we have also decided to open a Google Form link here where anyone can submit their work and interest to collaborate.

The Ringleaders, a Montreal-based collective of artists, ballers, and friends setting the benchmark for some of the most unique football events and merchandise in the world. Annual events like the Frostbite and Midnight Cups have captivated the eyes of the global footy community.

Solosé FC, Our homie Fer Piña has formed an amazing community in CDMX “para ellas_para todxs”. They host some incredible events bringing friends and neighbors together in a safe space to connect over football and art. Keep an eye out for some cool events during the World Cup!

Neighborhood Sports Club, Max Ornstil, Dylan Autran, and Jordan Jesolva form Oakland’s own NSC, a brand specializing in fashion, film, and pick-up footy. The crew just recently opened a new location in the heart of Oakland, providing space to play and gather for any footy fans in the area.

Guerrilla FC, host organized footy and futsal in Washington DC, as well as hosting their own alternative events for watch parties and pop-ups. This crew has been driving footballing culture in the nation’s capital for years now, and they aren’t going anywhere.

Nivelcrack, the OG’s of football fashion, continue to produce hit after hit, with design and aesthetics that never fail to make everyone else wish they had thought of that. Keep the heat coming goats.

Secret Futebol Club, NY footy’s best kept secret is starting to get out, as this talented group of creatives who bonded over pickup soccer continue to turn over eye catching projects and collaborations. We wish we knew what secret sauce they were cooking up next…

Anar Football Club, a Shanghai-based grassroots club who have been providing the Chinese footy scene with opportunities to play and connect. Their visuals and recent design link ups are simply stunning.

FUTCON, Argentina played host to the first ever FUTCON, a festival of football and creativity drawing attendees from the creative footballing space all over the world. The convention included food, art, merch, and panels from industry leaders. We already marked our calendars for next year!

Tiki Taka, an organized community of ballers in LA who recently lifted the TOMA El Juego trophy in 2025. The group provides high level, free-to-play soccer in the city, all while rolling out high quality content and coverage from their events.

Coppa Pizzeria, creates the wildest, wackiest, and most extreme elements of football culture mixed with performance to form something that feels like it came out of a dream. This 2v2 tournament in Naples is something you have to see to believe, and even then you might not believe it.

Ambiente Central, take all the values we celebrate as a community and roll them all up into the perfect formula to throw the best parties around. This group uses shared Central American roots to inspire their sounds and shape their experiences, and we can’t wait to visit the next one.

Matinal, a creative community focusing on Post Football culture, the diverse parts of the game that exist beyond the pitch and in third environments. You might find them play testing a new hacky-sack, or creating dope alternative footy gear, all with some of the cleanest aesthetics around.

Venice Beach Football Club, are the kings of the west coast streets, and have become a household name not only for growing street soccer in California, but for showcasing their community on the global stage. Pro ballers pulling up every chance they get, timeless branding recognizable from coast to coast, these guys hold the probably the most legendary street venue in the USA.

Girls United FA, a non-profit doing incredible work to empower women through football. They operate in the UK and Mexico, and offer teams to join, coaching courses to advance footballing education, and workshops to help set members up for success off the pitch too. Truly some of the most important work being done at the front line of an issue on which football still has a long way to go.

Football For Her, offers a safe space for those who identify as female or non-binary to play footy in LA. They have helped host countless events promoting the women’s game, and been able to connect plenty of pro players in the states with girls who look up to them through workshops and clinics. Bridging the gap between youth players and their heroes, and while keeping it free and accessible.

Club Deportivo Palestino, was founded in Chile in 1920 by Palestinian immigrants, and their solidarity has remained strong ever since. The club has championed the Palestinian cause proudly since it’s inception, and they remain a leading voice for a Free Palestine.

Chinatown Soccer Club, have been kicking it and creating in NYC since 2002. Recognized globally as some of the first people in the US to fully enter the footy creative scene, they showcased that pickup footy can be, and is in fact, very cool. Still going strong to this day, they represent a rare, fully fledged community centered around football in the states.

Portland Hearts of Pine, New England’s newcomers entered with a bang, reaching the USL1 semifinals in their inaugural season before losing on pens, and captured the collective hearts of lower league enthusiasts with their beautifully designed kits and emphatic fansbase. The Hearts are doing it right, focusing local and creating genuine support networks, and it’s paying off with national attention.

Vermont Green, USL2 glory finally came to the Berniebeu this season, as the Green won the league with an invincible season. This achievement spoke to the incredible lengths this project has come since their debut in 2022, and even more impressive is the tremendous community support they have received both on the field and off. Selling out games regularly is one thing, but getting your fanbase out to pick up trash and learn about labor unions is taking the next step. UTFG

Farout FC, proves everyone has football culture to share. Based in North Dakota, the brand champions those who might feel far away from the footballing centers of the world, but still have plenty of footy to go around. They turn over some of the cleanest merch, sharpest visual aesthetics, and play football in locations so picturesque it makes you want to visit ND. If you build it, they will come.

Soho Warriors, London’s finest, playing every Friday night but equally becoming one of the most influential groups of creatives and artists over the years, with brothers Matthew and Chris Dent founding their brilliant Dent Studio.

La PAC 18, the Parisian street-style tournament every summer has become the place to see why so much of France’s talent is developed in these environments.

Romance FC, still going strong since 2012, Romance set the blueprint that echoed into so many feeling like they can come together and kickabout, no matter their skill level.

Gavião Kyikatejê, the first indigenous team in Brazil made waves with their powerful film and continue to be a disruptive force calling out inequality and proudly representing heritage that demands more respect and resources.

Babe City FC, the women, trans, and non-binary club have something special up their sleeve in 2026, and we can’t wait to see it come to life in London with some of the most talented filmmakers on their side.

Black Arrow FC, the world’s first platform dedicated to the intersection of Black culture and the beautiful game, and they’ve been developing big plans ahead of the World Cup.

Molly Manning Walker, the London-based director and cinematographer leading the women’s football focused series in development: “Major Players”

Tom Emmerson, from finding ways to practically shoot music videos from planes over Swiss countryside to larger-than-life visuals with adidas and House of Errors, Tom’s unmistakable creative ambition has us hoping he never stops pulling off these sets that almost feel like stunts.

Sing Lee, the writer and director originally from Wrexham has been quietly moving through the world of sport with impressive influence and craft behind the scenes alongside his incredible partner Sylvia Zakhary and their projects MAMAG and Storyhouse, building off of his beautiful film The Accidental Getaway Driver.

Tom Day, versatile in style but always with substance and storytelling, Tom’s past year directing has rightfully seen him go from strength to strength. And we still have so much love for his Barry Keoghan-led Manchester United video.

Matt Lejune, we were grateful to be connected with Matt as he helped Where Is Football document World Football Day at the United Nations with Football For The Goals, and he has been capturing the game everywhere with his cultured craft from the Middle East to MLS’ next gen.

Asif Kapadia, arguably the most-renowned sport documentary director, Asif’s storytelling of Senna, Maradona, and more recently Kenny Dalglish has been a true inspiration for Where Is Football and so many others.

Georgia Hudson, the London-born director and artist sums her style up well: mov8!( between the intimate and the epic, creating work that holds the human experience, from raw to transcendent. Her thoughtful visuals have brought new dimensions to football storytelling.

Hernan Corera, the director and partner at Mama Hungara – co-founders of FUTCON – brings at elevated lens but also a Borges level of magical realism to his work that we love.

Gabriel Russo, the Barcelona-based director and digital artist renowned for his distinctive visual style — bold, surreal and instantly recognisable.

Keane Shaw, the Nottingham Forest-obsessed director helping drive the creative vision with SoccerBible has a relentlessly expressive style, and we loved working alongside him on a project with Juventus, EA SPORTS, and Claudio Marchisio.

Hana Asano, a long-time friend of Where Is Football and also an incredible photographer. Her evolution in recent years has been finding space to move her rich compositions and personal, human portraits into motion.

Glenn Kitson, one of Manchester’s finest directors, gents, and meme maestros. His style is unapologetically anti-corporate fluff but any brands looking at this should consider hiring him anyway.

Eli Mengem, the Director and Presenter with Copa90, and a true pioneer in the football storytelling space. If there’s one thing you need to watch to understand what this game means, it’s his documentary Once in a lifetime: Argentina.

Cliquamundo, the Mexican-American director duo of RJ Sanchez and Pasquale Gutiérrez made their name through music videos with the likes of Bad Bunny, but are deep in fútbol. We co-hosted a screening of RJ’s “Barra Brava” short film from Colombia with Venice Beach FC.

Dean George, Founder and CD of Gauchoworld, a magazine built around community and culture within football, Dean found his place behind the camera during his time with the Soho Warriors with an effortless style that allows the likes of Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga to remove their star power for a second and just be a cool guy to be around.

Gabriel Moses, Photographer and Filmmaker, Founder of Division Global. Gabriel has become a reference point for so many, and his football roots run deep, also having a deep relationship with the Soho Warriors in London.

Guicho Palma, the Latinx, first-generation director and artist based in Los Angeles, working primarily in photography and graphic design, caught our eye with his solo show with Stade. His beautifully candid short film “Juventud” left us excited to see more of his work in motion.

Victor Edeh, Photographer and Art Director, most recent collaborations include Arsenal Football Club (Lagos) and Guinness.

Rohan Blair Mangat, a Google search will show everything from short films with Jay Z to DJing in the London club scene, but the British-Jamaican-Indian director’s love for football has been a lifelong constant, and we’re excited to watch him bring his craft back to the game.

Walid Labri, prolific isn’t even the right word for Walid’s momentum and influence at the moment, with most recent collaborations including Nike, Cortiez, Santan Dave, Central Cee.

Juan Costa Paz, the founder of Love Magazine and Convoy in Paris has an eye for elevating the world of football. We were fortunate enough to work alongside him for a Nike campaign with Kylian Mbappe and Vini Jr last year.

Charlotte Regan, her debut feature Scrapper won the Grand Jury Prize for the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

Patrice Lighter, her expressive experimental techniques meets street-level relatability, and is one of few directors who connects so naturally with women’s footballers.

Ginga Films, Brazilian by name and nature, but global with storytelling. From leading Anitta’s documentary to working with some of the biggest footballers in the world, we love their style, their ginga.

Pietro Biz Biasia, a multi-hyphen maker of has touched high art in his own way, Pietro is a Director, Editor, and Visual Artist all in one, renowned for his bold, multi media, street culture-inspired visuals.

João Atala, the Brazilian cinematographer trusted by the likes of Petra Costa for the films Apocalypse In The Tropics and The Edge of Democracy has become a friend and inspiration for the Where Is Football team. While we can’t speak to the exact details of the futebol projects he’s currently a part of, expect to see his vision leave a mark on the world’s game.

Dominique Wells, the founder of Deadd Dirt has no limits, most recently working with the NWSL on the All Teams campaign. She has eliminated the notion of lazy kits “for women” being enough, instead opting for an expansive vision that we eagerly await to see evolve further.

DIAG, founded by designer Ryan Arambula, DIAG studio brings a thoughtful approach to football design, with an ambition to steward the game into a direction that isn’t dictated by hype and trends. Also a key collaborator on WIF26, Football For The Goals, and other Where Is Football projects, we are continuously impressed by DIAG’s creative approach.

Unwanted FC, from old kits sitting in closets to bespoke pieces, Unwanted has not only embraced upcycling but created a uniquely collaborative commission-based approach that has led to some unbelievable design work.

Agostina Belen Hidalgo (Agoshida), the Buenos Aires-based designer incorporates the unique roles of footballers on the pitch into her design philosophy of Agoshida, creating different attitudes and looks reflecting the variety of archetypes the game welcomes, for any time of the night and day.

Guillermo Andrade, the founder of 424, Guillermo already won years ago by designing with his dream club Arsenal. But he continues to push limits with signature rich materials and fits that subtly incorporate a deeper passion for football culture.

Biali Obed (NEU!), the Mexico City-based founder of Neutral Experiment Uniform (or NEU!) has incorporated upcycling into his creative process, living up to his project’s name with constantly refreshing iterations of new creations.

Drake Ramberg, retirement hasn’t been as quiet for Drake as he may have expected. The OG of Nike kit design has begun a second career as an advocate for design leadership, mentorship, and continuing to create some incredible kits for the likes of Venezia FC.

Angelo Trofa, indirectly following Drake Ramberg’s footsteps, Angelo Trofa has been a connoisseur of football design for decades. Now leading so many impressive projects for Nike while ensuring his creativity isn’t confined, we can’t wait to see what else Angelo has up his sleeve (bad pun) this year.

Full Kit, music and football overlap far beyond FIFA soundtracks, and Full Kit has been a project producing some of the finest kits and creative releases we’ve seen with artists like Dev Hynes, Fred Again, and many others.

Dianna Al Shamari, beginning with embroidery and football kits, Dianna’s practice has become an ever-present reference for football design. Many have imitated, but there’s no substitute for the designer who is trusted by the likes of Jules Kounde.

Paprika Original, made with love from Santiago, Chile, Paprika believes in the handmade and the signature style flipping traditional kits with added touches and images from popular culture.

Luis Callegari, switching the physical for the digital pitch, the designer behind some of Argentina and FC Barcelona’s recent kits has become a force within EA Sports, driving much of the creativity with a rich understanding of the game.

Sabrina Aguirre (AGUIRRRRE), when you get artists Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso wearing your designs at shows, you’re onto something special. Sabrina Aguirre and his practice AGUIRRRRE merges roots in Argentina with a practice in Mexico City and New York, incorporating brash concepts and colors with detailed designs.

Kudos, the studio from Mar de Plata, Argentina behind the design identity of FUTCON and incredible work with Aldosivi has hit a rhythm few practices have.

Colm Dillane (KidSuper), very much led by a joga bonito design ethos, Colm’s independent KidSuper FC, projects with the likes of Ronaldinho, and massive collaborations with Puma and their roster of clubs and athletes have reignited an underlying message across the industry that if you’re going to do something half-hearted, don’t do it at all.

Pedro Andrade (Piet), São Paulo meets Japan meets Pedro’s distinct style with his brand Piet, often coming back to the uniting force and personal passion of football. From on-pitch runway shows to KidSuper collabs with Ze Roberto, Pedro has been a leader in elevated Brazilian-based style, just in time as the country hopes to strive for its 6th star.

Ray Rose (Rrose From Concrete), embracing modern multiculturalism, Ray’s work with his label Rrose From Concrete embodies how certain cultures meet on a shared pitch, reflected in both his work and his personal background. This introspective approach has led to a distinct, honest, and relatable narrative that has brought his designs beyond vacuous lookbooks and ‘blokecore’ creations, including an upcoming documentary called Korea Away.

Jefferson Osei (Daily Paper), the Dutch-Ghanaian founder of Daily Paper has connected Europe with Africa through his brand based in Amsterdam and his heritage from Ghana. From Ajax adidas collaborations to independent explorations, he has added a layer of depth to both the most illuminated pitches in world football and the most local of communities.

Fernando Sordo Madaleno, the principal at architecture firm Sordo Madaleno, Fernando and his team have produced a unique perspective on pairing local culture with football heritage, with projects ranging from Sporting Gijon’s stadium to Atlas’ training facilities.

Gene Oe (Cognomen), terrace culture but given a Japanese reconsideration, Gene and his brand Cognomen have brought a fresh connection between the UK and Tokyo.

Matt Whitehead (Patterns of Play), from the Bomboneras book to fostering collaborations between artists and communities, Patterns of Play has been an ongoing inspiration we look forward to collaborating with more in 2026.

Kasi Flavour10, South Africa’s purveyor of local football culture, Kasi Flavour10’s knitwear, custom pieces, and amazing documentation of local communities bring a real flavour for the world.

Akaar (Lack of Guidance), under Akaar’s guidance, Lack of Guidance continue to craft some of the strongest designs and campaigns in the football space.

Slow Projects, with an ongoing exploration of techniques, sustainable sourcing, and conceptual executions, Slow Projects repurposes waste into gold standard pieces.

Tom Ellis, between his projects Row Z, Locker Room, and Second Half, Tom Ellis’ constant of football as his point of multidisciplinary inspiration continues to spark inspiration, developing bespoke collaborations for the likes of Zulan.

Javier Bandera (Paisaboys), self-awareness meets cultural resonance meets a modern brand that has become hugely relevant through everything from its designs, collaborations, powerful platform, and especially its memes. Paisaboys has a spirit of levity and paisa playfulness, but equally has grown into its huge platform by speaking up for marginalized communities, especially immigrants.

Manuel Rios, the artist behind the WIF26 illustrations and animation, Manuel sees the game like few do. From imagining Jorge Campos soaring through the air for a save with an expressive distinct style to environments with rooftop pitches in Brooklyn, the Mexican artists practice is both disciplined and delightful.

Martín Kazanietz (Gordo Pelota), Martín is an enigma. A fine artist trapped in the body of a football-obsessed fan. Now the co-founder of FUTCON, he’s created a lane for himself to freely exist alongside his two passions, and we love it.

Reuben Dangoor, craft meets cleverness, and Reuben’s work stands on its own but goes further with sharp cultural commentary.

Apostolis Dimitropoulos, from Greece to the world, Apostolis’ playful portraits and signature style has made him rightfully beloved for so many, including Spike Lee.

Dev Hynes, the musician you may know as Blood Orange has been a lifelong footballer who has immersed himself more and more in football culture with the friendship of collectives like Secret Futebol Club, musicians like , and designers like Full Kit.

Alice Isaac, with a mastery of collage and animation, Alice has reimagined how footballers, clubs, environments, and abstract elements can all flow together wonderfully.

Lev Rosenbush, with ongoing practice fusing football with well-made objects rooted in function is incredible, and his Studio Halftime practice very much exists on a plane few have executed so well.

Nicole Chui, stitch by stitch, Nicole’s designs are deeply personal and unbelievably detailed, with her relationship to football extending as the co-founder of Baes FC, a grassroots football team for women, trans, and non-binary people of Asian heritage.

Jon Paul Wheatley, if you ever want to know what going completely down a rabbit hole looks like, it’s Jon using his maker skillset to push the art of crafting footballs to the limit. Please never stop.

Cuco, the LA Galaxy-supporting Angeleno has brought his lifelong fandom into his craft, from collaborations with MENACE and Puma to videos incorporating elements of the beautiful game.

Nico Tagliafico, football pays the bills, art fills the time off the pitch for the class Argentine defender. When not running down the wing or stopping a counterattack, Nico’s illustrations and willingness to bring his fans into the process is an incredibly unique and impressive part of his presence in football.

Jasko Begovic (Skohabibi), the Oakland-based artist also known as Skohabibi’s signature style has found a lane dribbling between pure expression, community, cultural nuances, and of course football.

Rogê, the spirit of samba comes alive in sessions on Sunday night shows with Venice Beach FC, but the Brazilian musician and footballer Rogê has brought the joy of the game to the core of his artistic practice, even making his latest album cover a photo of him juggling a ball.

Georgina Trevino, the jewelry designer is bridging the gap between culturally resonant craft and elevated details, with impressive manufacturing output and materials that create something both accessible to fans while still personally infused by Georgina’s style.

Jean Joao, based in Santiago, the Chilean artist expresses himself through football-inspired portraits, acrylic, and a hefty portion of abstract interpretation.

Dan Leydon, a long-time friend of Where Is Football, it has been a joy to watch Dan’s work continue to progress and explore new territories over the years.

Mark Johnson, the digital artist’s footprint has been making waves in the real world. With a prolific output, Mark’s versatility has only continued to expand along with his curiosity to explore other mediums and techniques.

Emily Bisgaard, documenting her process in thoughtful detail, the Swedish artist who was raised in Hong Kong has always mixed paint and play, raising questions through murals and community projects about how we think about identity and belonging.

Erasto Reyes, the graphic designer turned ceramicist has been polishing his craft with a show that debuted in Mexico City, featuring a trophy-style cup and a variety of figures, and we’re excited to watch Erasto continue to hone in on his craft ahead of the World Cup.

Mattia Zingale, a designer passionate about football in all its forms. Born in Piazza Armerina, a small town in the heart of Sicily, Zingale designs from the heart of the island: far from big cities, far from the chaos.

Osvaldo Casanova, born in Vicenza, Italy, Osvaldo’s art as a cartoonist captures the imagination and takes the familiar into larger than life expressions.

Mattia Guarnera, the painter born and raised in South East London draws from his Italian and Ghanaian heritage to shape his distinct artistic perspective, and his subjects in football embrace the grittier side to the game with an exaggerated sense of suspended belief.

Daniel Batista, the artist from Guarapuava, Brasil uses color and form freely to fit the vibrant energy of his pieces, leaving us wanting to go to the beach with him and get on his wave.

Andrea Muten, a visual designer and art director from Milan, "Muten factory” is home to some of Andrea’s eye-catching projects.

Hattie Crowther, is a Hull-born designer based in East London. Her work sits at the intersection of sportswear, protest, and personal identity. She works with deadstock and upcycled materials, focusing on craft and commentary rather than trend.

Hoodbaby, quite simply no one has been developing the imaginary fits of Hoodbaby. With the fusion of wearable women-led design and football iconography, these 1 of 1 creations are another example of how clubs and brands can do more to cater to women.

Where Is Football Presents WIF26

Stadio, in the words of Musa Okwonga and Ryan Hunn, Stadio is “Football, done differently.” From waxing poetic in Musa’s signature style to a weekly podcast, they cover all the major European leagues, and a lot more.

Gauchoworld, is an annual magazine documenting stories surrounding culture across the globe. In the heart of London, Gauchoworld has their own creative studio space, a home that fosters creativity. With community at the center of their latest issue, Gauchoworld continuously shines a light on standout individuals whilst celebrating their own evergrowing ecosystem.

Darby, is an independent print publication and cultural platform founded in 2019 working to grow and shape the game of football in Canada and beyond. Their latest issue celebrates something we can all honor, belief. Darby shares the untold stories and unifying passion of their community and culture at home and abroad.

Clubeleven, is a digital and print media publication established in 2018. Driving their soccer bus throughout the United States sharing American soccer stories at every stop. With storytelling at the heart of their work, Clubeleven seek to discover and explore the game in America while connecting their soccer audience along the way.

Season Zine, a trailblazing football and fashion platform founded in 2016. From branded content, custom print publications, design, illustration, photography, video, etc. They create innovative and visually dynamic work that tells the stories that matter.

The Atlantic Dispatch, is a digital-first media publication and creative studio that celebrates the meeting point of calcio, culture, and community. Telling stories with soul, from the terraces of Europe to cafes, streets, and cultural corners that shape local identity. Their work blends journalism, photography, travel, and design to uncover the people, places, and passions that often go unseen.

Boost Futbol, is a media publication with the goal of educating, inspiring, and empowering the next generation of footballers. Via programs, soccer specific skill series, and resourceful content Boost acts as a hub for aspiring footballers within America and globally.

NPLH, is a podcast and magazine that explores the people shaping football culture across the globe, hosted by Joseph Fordham. NPLH are approaching their 13th magazine publication and recently surpassed the 100th episode of their podcast. At the core NLPH aims to speak about everything but football with folks who spend their life celebrating it. Insightful and refreshing conversations with some of your favorite folks in the space are to be expected.

The Rest Is Football, From getting Carlo Ancelotti to mention his all-time best XI of players he’s managed to using their platform to speak up, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, and Micah Richards have found incredible chemistry off the pitch.

Versus, is a media platform and fan community championing the future of football and its impact on culture and society.

Forty One Mag, CONCACAF contains 41 nations, and Forty One is dedicated to sharing their stories as we approach the region’s biggest time in the limelight yet.

OOF, the magazine and London gallery finds some of the most talented artists and showcases their craft with a common thread of a bit of football.

Sporarts, as Eric Cantona once said, “Football is like fencing. It’s a noble art.” And Sporarts have explored this every step of the way.

Extra Time Magazine, has been turning over some of the highest quality print media around, and have done incredible storytelling about more niche football cultures and communities not just in the states, but worldwide.

5ASIDE Media, an NYC based media brand whose founding members share a love of the beautiful game, and explore its intersection with Black Culture. These guys just got done with a full docu-series on AFCON, and constantly provide content and commentary through their own unique lens.

Shukyu Magazine, Japanese football culture’s translator and curator, developing bridges between the country and football around the world.

Chute!, the analog football community led by Pedro Gonmoc in Mexico City showcases raw moments and stories, inviting anyone to pick up a camera and explore the game in their barrio.

Andrea Trega, Andrea sets the standard not only with her high level shots, but with her clever behind the scenes content and production.

Anna Huix, a Barcelona based photographer who loves a beautiful, colorful portrait. Her work reads more like paintings than photos, and her creative use of setting and hue are instantly eye-catching.

Erica Voget (Cuerpas Reales, Hinchas Reales), Erica has created an incredible collective of photographers showcasing female fandom around the world. Their feed holds a treasure trove of stories worth scrolling for hours.

Luiz Perez, for decades Luiz has traveled the world finding football, especially across Mexico and Latin America. He’s a savant with extreme curiosity that results in him stumbling upon surreal scenes.

Daniel Kobin, is the king of boots. He’s shot every new release you have seen, and combines creative set design with professional quality. His portraits and landscape shots are what you stay for though, creating a beautiful in-feed portfolio.

Matt Stith, it would have been very easy to fill this list with Matt Stith’s excellent collective of Football Case Study photographers, like Scott Groult, Alejandro Gutierrez Mora, Andrea Vílchez, and Jinane Ennasri to name a few. Matt continues to bring fresh perspectives to the pitch and we know 2026 will be a landmark year for him and FCS.

Devin Lamoreaux, from covers of EA FC to starting his own studio Starting Eleven, Devin embodies the mentality of a footballer with his photography and work ethic, matching the subjects he shoots.

Mel D Cole, the award-winning photographer spans everything from street-level documentation to bespoke studio settings, incorporating his love for the game into his Charcoal Pitch FC.

Mateo Arciniegas, the Colombian-born photographer’s intimate connection with cultures often unexplored like MADISON project focusing group of Latin American men who carved out a space for futbol, music, and brotherhood.

Brian Chorski, with a knack for anticipating the right moment right before it happens when he’s not in a beautiful countryside landscape, Brian’s unbridled passion for football has seamlessly captured some of the most powerful fan imagery we’ve seen.

Melissa Ortiz, the former Olympian of Colombia, Broadcaster and Founder of Kickoff Coffee co has been unapologetically herself every step of the way, and we know she’ll never stop.

Héctor Bellerín, the outspoken Professional Footballer, Activist, and Founder of Gospel Estudios has reconnected with his home and continued to invigorate supporters of his all over the world. Check the feed every once in a while for a good book reccomendation.

Christen Press and Tobin Heath, the co-founders of Re-Inc and certified power couple have officially hung up their World Cup-winning boots, but they’re only getting started with using their platform to spotlight what matters in women’s football and topics much bigger than the sport.

Systemarosa (Naomi Accardi + Sam Herzog), from gallery shows in Paris to styling major brand shoots to developing bespoke collections, the dynamic duo of Naomi Accardi and Sam Herzog behind Systemarosa have built something special with a level of taste that comes from deep cultural understanding of fashion, football, and much more. Naomi has also built an incredible resource with her Riserve Directory, the first international directory for football-oriented creative talent.

Worldie Football Club, from midnight tournaments in Montreal to beach soccer tournaments in Santa Barbara, Worldie is a club rooted in creativity, community and collaboration.

Mayowa Quadri, Head of brand at Versus, a conversationalist with his ear to the ground.

Daniel Buezo, the founder of the brand Kids of Immigrants put on a wonderful small-sided tournament during their annual Love Day celebration, and continue to create space for those who deserve it the most.

Djibril Cisse, the France international has rekindled his appreciation for football, extending his maverick creativity throughout his career on the pitch into music, fashion, and much more.

John Shin, bringing good vibes wherever he goes, John has created a lane of positivity that is contagious and has set an example of how creators can be entertaining without veering into anything too cynical.

Jack Bgst, Founder of Spyders media company and Host of Say Less Global.

Snake Denton, the charismatic reporter is funny and authentic in his interviews, and his stylish aesthetics set him apart from the crowd.

Felicia Pennant, the enigmatic founder of Season Zine has been a force for the growth of women’s football and the women building it from the ground up.

Olanrewaju Alexandra, more commonly known as “Feedy”, a key creative in Nigeria's football landscape. Most recently worked with Nike on the “Show Dem” campaign.

Arthur Marques, is bringing the beaches of Rio de Janeiro to the world, showcasing the altinha community. Whether he’s playing with his friends on the beach or with Neymar Jr. himself, watching altinha being played is like watching a dance perfomance.

Angelo Destounis, is a creative spirit and founder of the Ringleaders. Angelo’s heart and mind are equally intoxicating. His ability to create and foster community is next to none.

Sally Ghaly, if you saw anything inspiring coming out of Morocco during AFCON, chances are Sally had her hands on it. The multidimensional creative producer has found her flow within and beyond football, working with massive brands to footballers like Achraf Hakimi to artists like Hassan Hassaj.

Roberto C Miquel (Equipo FC), the creative doubling between Valencia FC creative operations and his passion project Equipo FC has sharpened his craft coming into 2026 with some inspiring drops, and a calendar to count down the days to this summer.

Uyiomorogbe, is a multi-talented creative who does everything from acting to rapping to fashion to comedy. He has a knack for visuals, and his humor shines through in all of his content. Exploring his various feeds with have you in rabbit holes for hours.

Kelvyn Quagraine, the head of brand at ARTOF, the UK brand pioneering alternative football art and merchandise. Kelvyn has helped the company grow from a small studio of artists to a global staple, regularly collaborating with Premier League clubs and huge brands like Guinness.

Morgan Allan, runs art direction for Versus, continuing to create stunning visions for athlete portraits in what has been a rocket-ship year for the brand.

Abderrahmane Trabsini, a wildly talented creative, behind Daily Paper. Trabsini’s eclectic mix of design and art inspires and uplifts.

Oved Valadez, convincing brands to put large amounts of resources towards things that haven’t been done or have a less transactional impact can be a hard sell, but Oved and his Industry agency have been doing that with the likes of Nike, YouTube, and even Lewis Hamilton.

Lucas Shanks (Scenes), the founder of Scenes has brought his rich knowledge of the game to create a lifestyle brand with signature pieces, repurposed vintage gems, and a strong voice focused on supporting real community .

Daniel Malikyar, the Afghan-American photographer, storyteller, and documentary filmmaker has found the game whether he’s traveling with Wizkid, on the beaches of Brazil, or watching the sun rise in Afghanistan.

Ethan White (Stade), the founder of Stade New York and ex professional footballer has transitioned effortlessly into a new craft, leading breathtaking campaigns and collaborating with some incredible artists.

Leyla Hamed, the epitome of what this category is all about, Leyla is consistently using her platform, voice, and savvy understanding to create change. We were proud to play a small role in her efforts to save Aida’s pitch in the West Bank, and look forward to supporting more initiatives alongside her in the months ahead.

Youth 4 Youth FC, while still playing in college, Brando Babini had the idea of helping support young footballers in their paths to finding the next step in their playing careers. Enter Youth 4 Youth FC: the first of its kind platform and coaching initiative run by current players, because no one understands the game and its challenges off the pitch like the ones currently playing.

Football Case Study, with a mission of helping you understand the world through football, Football Case Study has brought its considered lens with an incredible collective of photographers and storytellers. We joke that Where Is Football and FCS are like cousins in spirit, and look forward to continuing to support them in such an important year for the game.

Fer Piña, the founder of Solosé FC, former professional footballer, and ace photographer based in Mexico City has a mission to make fútbol in Latin America more inclusive and ensure that women have a place in any space still far too dominated by machismo culture. Fer has been quietly fostering perhaps the most progressive movement in Mexico with Solosé, and we hope those in positions of power support her project ahead of the 2026 opening match in CDMX and beyond.

Zohran Mamdani, a mayor who knows ball is already impressive, but incorporating a “Cost of Living Cup” into his campaign to become elected by New York City is next level – not to mention his recent AFCON final viewing party. New York City is perhaps the most important host city of the World Cup, and we trust that Zohran will find a way to properly meet this moment.

Pat Aviles, more than a job, Pat Aviles represents Los Angeles and has a profound understanding of the city, often using his position at LAFC to support groups and causes that mean much more than football. From helping marginalized communities to being ahead of the curve with collaborations with the likes of Paisaboys, Pat is someone who leads by action.

Eyoel Mammo, representing the next generation both on and off screen, Eyoel has used his love for the game to lift up everything from Ethiopian football-loving diaspora communities to coaching the youth at Venice Beach FC to being an emcee at Nike Football events.

Ceylon Andi Hickman (Football Beyond Borders), both a baller and a changemaker, Ceylon has been at the helm guiding the force for good that is Football Beyond Borders. FBB’s impact on communities and youth cannot be understated, yet continues to gain momentum with Ceylon and her surrounding excellent leadership team.

Marta, an enduring phenomenon that has seemingly transcended the typical limits time puts on a career, Marta is an absolute icon who has extended her impact into being a UN ambassador. Her impact on women’s football is already unprecedented, but the opportunity she has to finish her career with a swansong at the Women’s World Cup in Brazil is going to be so much bigger than the sport.

Newcomers FC, the collective creating safe spaces for refugees and displaced communities to find a place to feel welcome through football has a vital role in 2026, and we’re proud to support their efforts.

Cuerpas Reales, Hinchas Reales, arguably the most impressive collective of women photographers, primarily in Latin America but also Europe, has documented unbelievably striking imagery that counters male-dominated narratives around women supporters.

Jason Roberts, CONCACAF is welcoming the world to its region this summer, and Jason Roberts is responsible for much of the football operations pushing it forward. From youth tournaments to the world’s stage, the former Blackburn Rovers striker has made a massive effort to connect with organizations focused on community impact.

Ruba Sbeah, MLS is fortunate to have such a real one at the helm of so much of its brand and marketing work, but Ruba’s ambitions to use the game for good are becoming more and more integrated with her work as each season arrives. And this season brings the responsibility of helping ensure a positive legacy of the World Cup, something Ruba will no doubt continue to advocate for.

Love Fútbol, when it comes to building pitches in communities in need, Love Futbol has the blueprint. Blending creativity and community impact, especially as a new member of Football For The Goal, we’re excited to partner more this year.

Ian Wright, the ex-Arsenal legend simply doesn’t need to do as much as does to support women’s football, calling out racism and lazy sexist tropes, but that’s Ian. The biggest heart in the game, and one of the good ones setting an example for how so many can use their platform.

Ivan Hernandez III, also known as “Ivan In The Community”, Ivan Hernandez has decided to turn a career full of savvy marketing into work that can benefit local communities.

Yuna, the hugely popular musician lets her love for Liverpool FC ripple into a wider “You’ll Never Walk Alone” ethos into everything she does. From social work to speaking up for Palestinian youth through football tournaments she helps organize, Yuna has embodied YNWA and we look forward to continue building with her.

Ms Rachel, the modern day Mr Rogers, Ms Rachel is a light and maybe a surprising person to find on a list about people associated with football. But as she has become so active in supporting basic rights for children from Palestine to Sudan, her voice and massive platform has naturally expanded to football, and we are a big supporter of everything she stands for.

Football For The Goals, the United Nations’ initiative to use the power of football to reach its sustainable development goals has a pivotal year, and we’re proud to support them through our official partnership.

Karishima Inayat and Sumaira Inayat, In the remote and rugged north of Pakistan, amidst the towering 6000-meter peaks of the Karakoram Mountain Range, Karishma and Sumaira, co-founders of the Gilgit-Baltistan Girls Football League, champion girls' rights in a world where football is more than just a game.

Marion Reimers, journalist, community advocate, and one of the leading voices in football in Mexico and across Latin America. Marion incorporates social good and community impact in so much of her work, looking after the soul of the game and those who love it.

Danny Navarro (Travel Futbol Fan), Danny’s goal was simple: to help fans plan and financially prepare for the bucket list trip of going to the World Cup. But the reality unfortunately is more complicated as we approach the summer, and Danny Navarro has risen to the challenge of helping supporters understand the complexities and ways politics are deeply intertwined with the sport, educating his audience and speaking up for what he believes, which is ultimately for affordability and basic humanity.

Design FC, a project rooted in the power of design and football, helping unlock the imagination of youth who may not have access to learn about design and art otherwise. Omri Gal, Oliver Steinglass, and the rest of the team have scaled Design FC globally alongside the likes of Arsenal and England star Eberechi Eze, and the platform is making dreams possible with collaborations with the likes of New Balance and EA Sports.

Michele Kang, the reality is that a lot can happen with some pockets and a clear vision. Michele Kang has been using her resources to elevate women’s football from the clubs the Washington Spirit and London City Lionenses, she owns to the rooms she’s in, and we hope others follow her lead.

Kely Nascimento, literally born into the beautiful game as the daughter of Pelé, Kely has dedicated so much of her life to ensuring the promise of futebol is fully transformative for the lives of so many.

Gabi Cuevas, many are considering Mexico to be the spiritual home of this World Cup, and Gabi Cuevas is working directly with the country’s president Claudia Sheinbaum to lead an initiative ensuring the legacy of the tournament is lasting, with a promise to restore hundreds of pitches and activate communities.
