In the great butterfly effect of life, your decision to give everything you had to this small English town gave everything to me. I never once considered that my desperation in looking for a job in football would lead me to Leicester. I never could have dreamed that I would be given the opportunity to experience the greatest sports story of all time first hand.
Everything you did, you did with meaning and class. You allowed a population, a city, a fanbase and a community to dream. You gave ... every football fan— Leicester or not— renewed hope and meaning.
Football for us is more than just 90 minutes. It is family, life, existence and more. You made that okay.
For my life, career and memories— thank you.
For football, for legacy, for Leicester— thank you.
Alongside the others that we lost, you will never be forgotten.
